ESP qPCR Assay Protocols
A core function of the MEGAMER facility is to support the development of real time quantitative PCR (qPCR) based assays for use on the Environmental Sample Processor (ESP), a deployable molecular biology lab developed by engineers at the Monterey Bay Aquarium Research Institute (MBARI). Assays have been developed that target key genetic markers to microbe-driven geochemical processes in the ocean. This database contains the primer and probe sequences and assay reaction conditions for each of these assays. Note that the primer and probe sequences are listed in 5’ to 3’ direction.
